LoL, haven't seen that in a long time - View image here:. The end game is "wait for the next update, game over"
#RYZOM NAMED BOSS MACRO UPDATE#
Nobody in Korea has smitten Antharas so we're sure as hell not going to with them already 1 update ahead of us.
#RYZOM NAMED BOSS MACRO FULL#
We own Orfen and Nurka with little over 1 full group. NOTHING TO DO! I don't consider waiting for sieges once every 2 weeks 'something to do'. This is what I'm getting at by it sucks in the end-game. Nobody will fight them, they're the highest of the server. A good handful of the server has been over the level cap for several months, wondering what the hell to do. You have to wait for the next L2 update (months apart and no official ETAs) to do anything after the cap. Once you hit that hard limit (which currently is 58), you get nothing more than XP. You see L2 goes up to level 75, but NCSoft hasn't included any weapons/armor/monsters/skills/etc beyond a certain limit per patch. It occurs to me people may not understand what I mean by `update fast enough`. NCSoft doesn't update it fast enough to make it more fun then the bleeding edge. Whatever the edge of the server is, that's the real fun for sieges, but that's it. The game starts when you're 40 (C-grade), but gets interesting when you're 52+ (B-grade). Almost everyone knows my name from doing it and I've fought against or with them all. Only a handful of the people in the entire server even post there.Īnyhow, I've been as active of a person in all events/pvps/raids/etc and talk to people on all sides of the fence in that server. 1/2 of the history was deleted when they started these new forums but it's good enough to get a general idea. My forum name there is omino but it's currently banned - View image here:. This is all very new and if you read back in the forum, you'll see that. There has even been a recent crop of threads that say almost a majority of "GF".

It's died down to just flaming every 2-10 threads. People used to flame each other 24/7 on the forums. We are the busiest forum of all servers, and you can see some of the absolute most recent turns in the tide of events.

You can visit the forums, and read as far back as you like. So much has happened it would take forever to say the story. We've just taken 2 castles from EAA in the last 2 weeks. We've spent MONTHS organizing ourselves into teams, making them effecient, meeting each other, grinding, gearing, practicing in the arenas on set days, tournaments, organized and on-the-fly raids, ventrilo, multi-alliance forums, etc etc. Hundreds of people participate in the sieges trying to recap them from EAA's hands. I've been on the underdog teams, lots of them, fighting mercilessly and losing constantly. To make a really long story short, they play hard, captured 4/5 castles, locked down Antharas Lair from *the entire server*, and have the highest numbers/levels/best gear/money/etc. We've been fighting an alliance called Eternal Alliance in which Eternal Avatar leads. Porkot- I'm as active of a person in Lineage 2 as you can be. Ya, you generally sit more than you play, on TOP of the grind. I now have to sit for 15 minutes to regain all of my MP to do it again. Lineage 2 has been the best MMORPG that I've ever played. I just wanted to post to let people know that Ominous provided only one view of the game. I am totally pumped to explore the new areas, play the fun mini-games, and try out all my new skills!!! It is a HUGE upgrade, which will brings many new exciting features and correct some annoyances about the game. The next expansion, Chronicle 2, is coming out today. It is a nice break from leveling and I pulled in 800k-1mil a day. I would spend maybe an hour a day actively "husting" in Giran (buy low sell high) and setting up sell shops overnight. Albeit you need money to make money, but I was able to get top c-grade equipment for my Plainswalker by the time she hit 40 (+3 emi, +3 crystal dagger, +3 theca set). It's constant action.Īs for the economy, I really don't feel that it is outrageous. I have fun exploring new places with my friends and clan, and we generally never need to rest when fighting in a small group. There are so many aspects to the game that keep me craving more.įrom your OP, it sounds like all you were doing is grinding xp day after day by fighting solo. To list a few: Castle Seiges, Clan Wars, Farmer Griefing, Trade Hustling. There are many elements of the game that I find enjoyable and have not yet got bored of. Ominous, it seems like you failed to take advantage of all the things that make L2 fun.
